Local Government Reporting
Local governments are required to provide certain information about the issuance of bonds, including advance notice of an impending sale of any new issue of bonds, details about the sale, and submission of a final official statement, if published, pursuant to Section 218.38, Florida Statutes, and Rule 19A-1.009, Florida Administrative Code.
Beginning on January 1, 2026, local governments that file information required by Section 218.38, Florida Statutes, will use a new online filing system. The Division repealed the administrative rules that adopted the forms that were previously used (BF2003 and BF2004) and adopted a new streamlined rule and form in
Rule 19A-1.009, F.A.C., which incorporates Form No. DBF 2025-1.009. The new system will be accessible on January 6, 2026.
